Proposition 65 (Prop 65) is a California law that mandates companies to inform consumers of California about minuscule levels of chemicals found in their products sold and purchased within the state of California. Though a product may contain a Proposition 65 warning label or marking, it does not mean the product is a threat or danger to the consumer.
