Conflict Minerals Statement
Wet Sounds™ is committed to the protection of human rights at home, as well as abroad. As part of our International Compliance efforts we have established a conflict minerals compliance program that follows the framework created by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).
Our company is dedicated to working with our global supply chain to ensure compliance with the OECD framework, as well as, the United States' conflict minerals regulations, as defined by U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
As such, Wet Sounds will take the necessary steps to ensure that our company's sourcing of Tin (Sn), Tungsten (W), Tantalum (Ta), Gold (Au), and Cobalt (Co) will originate from conflict-free sources, according to SEC rules. We also ask that our suppliers undertake reasonable due diligence that the listed metals are being sourced from conflict-free smelters, and if not, to make deliberate progress towards doing so. If we become aware of the use of conflict minerals in our supply chain, we will work with our suppliers to find alternative conflict-free sources.
Our goal in following the Conflict Minerals regulations is to promote better humanitarian efforts around the globe.
